The summer after high school, Daniel fought fires with the forest service just before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Not only did he achieve the rank of corporal, but he learned the core values he wanted to live by "Honor, Courage, Commitment".  Post-enlistment, he relocated to sunny Lake Tahoe CA to live a young man's dream of working and living in a ski town.

For a long time, he loved fighting fires in the summer months and riding his snowboard as much as humanly possible in the winter months. As time passed, his life became more and more enjoyable and meaningful. He met his beautiful wife in Tahoe in 2014. They now have two beautiful children and are raising them to treat people and our planet with love and respect.

He soon grew tired of being away from his family and chasing wildfires, so he and his wife decided to make Incline village their permanent home, where each day they are very grateful to live, work and play.
